    I tried to search, but for some reason even in quotes its giving me a ridiculous amount of results so I'll ask here:

    My webcam on my inspiron 1520 works fine EXCEPT that I can't use it alone in dell webcam center/console. On AIM, MSN, Youtube, etc it works, I just can't get it to work alone. Someone told me it might be a driver problem, and I thought I downloaded the right one but to no avail. The thing is, my light comes on, and it works, so I know its not disconnected or broken, and I have a feeling it's something really basic that I'm just not paying attention to. So if anyone knows could anyone shed some light on my qualm?
