I just got this system brand new the other day and I think I have a problem. The release latch for the Express Card slot sticks out. This isn't how it was shipped. I can get the card in to the slot snuggly, and the card will eject well enough if I press the protruding latch in, but the latch itself doesn't return flush with the side of the computer. It's a very minor problem (unless it's not and I'm missing something) but it looks annoying, and not correct. Any help is appreciated.

I know that this is an older thread, but I'm having the exact same issue. I popped out the blank to put my remote in, and the latch won't go back in ... it sticks out. I'm afraid that when I move it (after I get a bag), I'll snap it off.

    Any suggestions?

That doesn't do it ... I tried that. When I hold in the latch and then insert the card, it just pushes the latch back out.

you need to push the latch so that it clicks / locks in place
and then push the remote in.

Yeah, the latch pushes in fairly far before it will catch. It surprised me when i took my card out of the first time. Try pushing it in with the tip of your finder or the butt end of a pencil. it has to go in about 1/4th of an inch before it seems to want to latch. if that doesn't work, then it might be faulty and needs to have a warranty repair done.

You are a bit of an ass. Can´t you see that if people ask in a forum is not for your patronizing attitude but rather searching for good class information!

Thanks FourForty, for the RIGHT and APPROPRIATE answer. :)
