Is it possible on an Inspiron 1520 supplied with the X3100 integrated graphics to upgrade to a dedicated 8400/8600m GPU which are options available from dell ?

I.e do they have the same motherboard as the ones released with the dedicated Graphics cards ? with the 'Dell Slot' like this: http://support.euro.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1520/en/sm/graphics.htm#wp1179900

Also I take it an Inspiron 1520 supplied with a Pentium Dual core T2330 would take a Core 2 Duo CPU aslong as its a Socket P right ?

    Thanks all :)

It's not possible, you can't upgrade the GPU. Period.
