Will 1680x1050 be too big of a resolution for the 15.4" screen? I really like 1440x900 but because of the percentage discounts, the 1680x1050 isn't much more money.

For a 15.4" screen, I think that 1680x1050 is just too small. Especially if you are a gamer, which means you cannot run things at native resolution.

1440x900 is an ideal resolution. Lower resolutions also have better response times, but this doesnt count always.

You made a good choise. Nice notebook, congrats. :)

My Samsung SyncMaster is 20" and its 1680x1050. 15" with 1680x1050? Dam lol you must need a magnifying glasses for that.

Alright, good. I really liked the 1440x900 resolution on my friend's monitor, but since it wasn't too much more money to upgrade to 1680 I just wanted to ask. Thanks for the info....you confirmed exactly what I thought myself.

@Notebook Solutions: It's really my brother's notebook, but he told me to choose his for him. That is actually how I ended up at NBR.....I'm glad I did, too. I have been waiting to play a lot of games and I'll finally get the chance to do that....until he leaves :p

I wish more laptops offered 1440x900 on a 15.4" screen.
