    So i just upgraded my 1520 from vista to xp. i use my comp for lots of gaming, but my microphone as gone weird. it seems to pick up both the integrated mic by the camera, AND my mic on the headset, plus lots of static. is there any driver or option that i need? i cant figure it out.

    Is an option called "Input Monitor" un-muted in the Playback panel? Mute that.
