Ok this is probably a minor issue but it's a bit annoying. If someone can help me to fix it that would be great! I always have to switch the screen from the highest brightness to a lower level every time I turn on the computer. How do I save the setting so that I don't have to lower the brightness everytime I turn on the computer. Also is it normal for the screen to get brighter when the AC power is used? My screen tends to get brighter the second I plug in the AC outlet. Thanks for helping! :)

In the BIOS (press F2 when you start up the Notebook) you can put a default level for brightness for both AC and battery use.

Another way is through windows. Control Panel, Power Options, Adjust Display Brightness. Yes it is normal for the laptop to change brightness when on AC power or not. It dims to save battery.
