I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 purchased a year ago. I just noticed that half of the screen isn't as bright as the other half. Looks like a light bulb was turned off on one side only. Any ideas what happened and how I would go about fixing it?

    Thanks

Cause there is a light bulb...the CCFL bulb is probably defective in your notebook and you more than likely require a new LCD display in order to fix...
