How do I tell what type of hard drive I have in my Inspiron 1520? I am pretty sure it's IDE/ATA, but I am seeing info in my web research that says SATA. Not sure which to buy. Maybe this is a dumb question. Please enlighten me.

It's SATA. You can buy SATA 1.5Gb/s or SATA 3.0Gb/s drives.

Thanks! Any recommendations for ghosting the new drive from the old one?
