I got an inspiron a week or two ago and it crashes at the weirdest times. very hard to track since it happens inconsistently. from my googling I've found that it could be an overheating problem (which I doubt), a graphics card problem, a faulty ram issue..or maybe it's an undocumented Vista feature.

When it happens, the whole computer hangs, no sound when I'm playing music or anything. num/caps/scroll lock don't respond. I have to power it off and reboot to get back into vista.

I've attached a pic -- I hooked it up to my CRT when I snapped it, but it happens just the same when I'm on the laptop.

Has this happened to anyone? Anyone ever heard of it?
