I have had my 1525 for 2 months now. Yesterday the screen went black. I still have sound and the indicator light shows the computer is turned on. How ever the hard drive, battery and mouse indicator lights are not lighting. It appears that either the AC adapter or the battery has quit working. I haven't called Dell yet because I don't want to spend 2hours with them if I can avoid it. Any idea why the lights aren't on or why the screen went dark?? Thanks

Try re-seating your RAM. I had a very similar issue, and it turned out to be caused by a loose stick of RAM.
