    Hello forum,

I had a three year warranty on my I1525 but of course a month after expiration it was knocked off the table by my lil bro. I'm not computer savvy here, so all I can describe it as is the black part in the side of the laptop (part of the motherboard?) came out leaving the wires free. I can still charge the laptop with the adapter, but it fits loosely and can easily stop charging if it isn't inside just right

So I'm wondering if anyone can help me try to figure out a way to keep it steady in the side so I can have it on my lap again. So far
I tried sticking an end of a q-tip and it worked kinda~

And before anyone tries to say to contact Dell, I have done so. And in order for them to do anything, I have to pay like $500+ to renew my original warranty and plus get accidental coverage. And for that much, I'm holding off to buy a new laptop. I just need this one to last me until I can save up enough.
