    Inspiron 1525 Microphone, I sound like a man?

    Haha hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows why I sound so manly when I use the inbuilt microphone on my laptop? (Btw last night was the first time I had tried it out since getting my computer) I'm not too sure if this is a problem with my computer in specific or if all inspiron 1525s are like this.

    Any help would be much appreciated! :)

    If you've never had your voice played back to you before, maybe it's just you? No offense or anything, but I don't see how the mic can make you sound like a man through a defect.

    Check the Dell Webcam console, I believe there are audio effects, some might be enabled.
