I've searched and can find bits and pieces, but I just wanted to know if anyone is running Windows 7 32-bit on an Inspiron 1525? Did you have any issues with drivers since Dell doesn't list Windows 7 drivers for the 1525, only Vista.

I would think that Windows 7 installs most of the drivers, but not all. Just looking for feedback. Thanks

Vista drivers are compatible with 7 (driver model is near identical) IF Windows 7 doesn't already all find the drivers.

That is what I was thinking. I had also saw someone that used some of the 1545 drivers if part was from same manufacturer. Thanks

1525 is Santa Rosa while 1545 is Montevina so the Intel GMA drivers would be different.

I'm using windows 7 pro 64 bit on my old 1525, I haven't ran updates since last june. I have w7 drivers from many different model and class with no problems, since I don't trust windows handling my drivers.

im using win7 ultimate on a 1520 and it detected everything correctly upon install and runs flawlessly, and much quicker then the vista image that came with it.
