I just joined this forum recently when i wanted to purchase a xps m1530 which is in production stage as we speak. I read lots of good advice on setups, tweaks etc. Well heres my story on the inspiron 1525 I purchased last fall for my daughter. The charger was acting up a few months ago. Called dell and they sent a new one. 2 weeks ago the laptop wouldnt turn on. Called dell and we sent it in. They replaced the mother board. Now today the charger not working again. I'm going to have to call them again. Anyone have any ideas to what would be going on?

Try removing the battery and pressing the power button for 10 secs with the battery out then put the battery back in and try booting the machine up and testing the charger. I hope this works for you.
