Inspiron 1525 overheating problem..

hey guyz.. itz mi frst post out here.. bt i need help.. I hav a dell inspiron 1525.. and d laptop constantly overheats.. be it due to prolong usage.. or performance demandin programs or games.. the other day i was playing NFS.. and every 3-4 minutes the laptop would jus shut off.. i hav had a look at the temperatures and on high usage.. it goes upto 89 degrees .. i dun hav a coolin pad.. bt if thtz wht i neeed.. can some1 reccommend one plz.. i tried mi hand at undervolting.. bt didnt work out.. as in d stress test on d cpu.. mi laptop would restart over and over again.. anywayzz cheers for any help

 

Is the fan actually running? Have you cleared out your vents? I don't think this is a matter of prolonged use or demanding apps; I think it's probably a hardware fault...

Ok, nick honestly this is no joke I created this account for two reasons, Reason A, you will get more replys if people can actually READ what it is you are asking.
