I looking to buy a used Dell Inspiron 1545. After doing some research I found these laptops came with the GM45 express chipset no matter what cpu it came with. All the ones I find for sale say that they have the Mobile Intel 5 Series Express chipset. Is this the same chipset? Would someone enlighten me?

    It's GM45. Definitely _not_ a 5-Series.

1545 had GM45 (Intel 4500MHD graphics) and PM45 (ATI graphics). 5 series chipset is Intel's Capella platform.
