Guys, i purchased a Inspiron 1545 laptop. now i wanted to increase some real estate of my screen and thinking of putting a 1080p screen. is there any 15.6" LED WUXGA screens for Inspiron laptop? nothing on eBay yet  does Studio 15 WUXGA screen will work with this?

WUXGA (1920x1200) is 16:10 aspect ratio, 1080p (1920x1080) is 16:9. Those displays will be incompatible. What you need is the 15.6" 1080p display from the new Studio 15's (1555 or 1557); those will be compatible.

Thanks a lot Mastershroom. i guess this screen (15.6" 1080P LED) will take some time to hit the shelves (eBay). found out the part number. it's a LG LP156WF1-TLA1 panel. :)

Keep in mind that not all of these displays are LG. I know that the Studio 15 1080p display also uses AU Optronics panels, and perhaps Samsung as well (I know they use a Samsung 720p, but not sure about 1080p).

On a different note, lets say that if i got replacement 1080p screen off eBay? do i have to get a separate Inverter (found out that even in LED screens, there's small Inverter involved) for that LED panel or use the existing inverter board that came with the original LED (720p) screen?
