I searched through the archives and found a few posts on this subject, but none from anyone who seemed to have actually done this. I have a 1545 with the 1366x768 LED screen, and it's possible to upgrade the laptop with a 1600x900 LED screen which seems to be readily available for about $40-60 online.

Obviously, this increases the available pixels on the screen by more than 20 percent, but I was wondering if anyone here had actually done the switch, and if so, are there any cons to doing so, such as a reduction in image quality or battery life, and does the additional screen real estate even justify the expense? I've already upgraded the laptop with a T9800 CPU and an SSD, and the performance is more than satisfactory for what I use it for, but a little more screen space would be nice.
