    Does the new Inspiron 1564 (Core i5/Core i3) have a HDMI out port?

    Yes it does.
    It has 3 usb, 10/100 ethernet, vga, hdmi, line-in and line-out and a multi-card reader

    Next time you could look this up on the dell site (inspiron 1564 product page > specifications tab) ;)

    HDMi 1.3 is the only way to go.

    1 cable from my laptop 17" screen to my Samsung 23" 1080p HDMI screen perfection.
