    Hello,
I´m thinking on buying a new laptop, I´m not thinking on spending much money ( 900 € max) this is what i found, surfering the internet:

Do you think, latest games (such as gta IV, Black ops COD or mafia 2) will be able to be played?
    Thanks.

It will play those games at the resolution the 15R is capped at. I doubt highest quality, but should handle medium fine.

For gaming you can look at the 4820TG for around the same price and it will offer same specs but with an i5.

Err yeah I'm sorry I was reading up on another thread.

The 15R has been pretty solid. The major things that go "wrong" with it is your typical Dell problems; the usual bad hard drive, and Dell keyboards/touchpads/palmrest will usually go bad the first few months of ownership if you have any problems. The original batch of 15R we had, had an alarmingly high hard drive failure rate but that has now gone.

Yes, if you absolutely can wait I would because the 15R might have a Sandy Bridge refresh.

Maybe a couple months, nobody really knows. The XPS line is getting refreshed very shortly, perhaps mainstream will be refreshed soon after. Dell should be refreshing their flagship consumer line before mainstream.
