So I have a Inspiron 15R with an AMD APU running windows 7. Last night while it was being used by my cousin and myself. It suddenly cuts off like the battery was dead. But we had 60% left so when we turned it back on it literally took like 30 mins to boot up but when it finally did everything was gone, windows explore wasn't working so I couldn't navigate nowhere except from the desktop... When I tried to go to my computer or anywhere else I got an error

"Server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect"

Which is to my knowledge a registry issue but I know nothing bout this so I said screw it.. Ima do a fresh install via USB well my other tech savvy cousin was doing this is she said can't cause she can't find the HDD, not even in the bios

Can I get some help here

If the drive isn't detected in BIOS, then there's a good chance it's a failed HDD like you suspect. Try running Dell diagnostics from BIOS as well.
