    Does anyone have a useful guide on how this stuff actually works? And if you were to install a different operating system without using the recovery partition, how the hybrid storage would work?

    It seems to be a BIOS integrated technology, what would happen if the hard disk was formatted? Or upgraded for a bigger one with more cache?
