    Inspiron 1720 1920x1200 Screen Issues

    I just got my Inspiron 1720 today and the HD 1920 x 1200 screen looks awful. At the highest resolution the test is very tiny (i knew this would happen) but its not clear at all. Even at a lower res 1440 x 900 the entire screen looks grainy and very dull even at the highest brightness. Is this how the screen is supposed to look or is this an isolated problem?

    Hi jfriedman8 try this :) go to display settings at set it a 1920x1200... then go back to the previous screen and on the top left there is "Adjust font size DPI" change it as big as you need.

    I tried that and it helped a little bit. The screen also strobes with one of the inspiron background images. Im starting to think I may have to send this one back. Ugh.
