Hey all,
Got my 1720 with integrated webcam. But can't seem to get the thing to work. Have the drivers installed which control pan and zoom everything but it doesn't seem to pick up when I try to activate it.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a program I should specifically be using to fire it up? It's not a big deal since I doubt I'll hardly ever use it, but just in case I'd like to have it working.
I've never had a webcam before (except when I was deployed and it wasn't my computer, just naturally set up) so I really dunno what to do with the thing haha.
Using Vista Premium, btw.
Thanks in advance.![]()

Did you check your Device Manager to see if there is no driver problem?
-
Have you tried to go to Dell Webcam Center in the Start Menu? If not, do so, click on it, go to Video Recording Mode and start... that isn't much though...

While I do have the Dell Webcam Center, all it does is pull up the Dell Webcam Console, where there is no video recording mode.

Update:
Case closed. For some reason didn't have the proper driver installed, had to install a different one.
