    Inspiron 1720 Webcam

    Hi, my 1720 doesn't have a webcam. I took the bezel apart and i see there's a board with just mic. Could I just switch with the board that has webcam or do I have to switch the cable too? I'm assuming it's all-in-one cable. Wanna make sure before I order webcam to replace it.

    I don't think you need to replace the cable, but you might need to replace the display bezel.

    if that's the case, i'll just order the webcam and cut a hole in the bezel.
