    Hi,
Can someone please tell me in which way does the air flow in a Dell Inspiron 1720? There are 3 vents at the bottom of the laptop. Do the fans draw air up from all 3 vents or is air pushed down?

I'm wanting to buy a notebook cooler 3 fan pad and I need to know the fan air direction before I buy. Or does someone have a 1720 with a 3 fan notebook cooler? If so which one?

Hopefully this info can help someone else in the future.
    Thanks,
    Dale.

Vents - air are pushed out by the round intake fans at the bottom of the notebook

The fans draw the air up from the bottom and out through the vents. Its standard for all laptops.

    Hi Guys,
From what I can work out is that there are 3 bottom vents, 1 left side vent and 2 fans. The vent on the bottom left has a fan which draws air down when turned to high. The other fan is on the CPU which forces air out through the left side vent. In theory, the bottom middle and bottom right vents are used to draw air up across the RAM and GPU. Hope this makes sense.

    Ragards,
    Dale.
