Hello everyone. Few months ago my previous HDD broke down. It was originally installed Seagate 160 GB. Before it got dead it made these strange click/clunk sounds sometimes for a several months but I ignored it. So after it broke down I bought a new HDD. It's Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320 GB. Now the problem is that I can hear sometimes similiar sounds coming from the side of the laptop where new HDD is located (except this sound is not that metalic like it was with previous one). It seems strange to me that new HDD could be breaking already (this sounds started almost straight away after I installed it). Could it be that my laptop somehow make HDDs down? I have really no idea what is going on and Im worried that new HDD can break down any time.

If the laptop is still under warranty and making noises similar to last time give Dell a call and see if they will replace.
