I have the option to get a Dell Inspiron 1720

for just under 800. It seems like a good option. However, with all this talk of the 1525 being released in January it has me wondering should I wait.
What is the likelihood of 1725 being launched? Personally I am not too bothered about HDMI out although it'd be a nice addition. From the pictures I've seen of the 1525 it looks a lot slimmer than the 1520 which on the other hand is a huge advantage.
A similar 1725 would be a nice update but is it worth loosing the above offer?

I dont think theres going to be a 1725 in january. Its just the 1525 and 1526 replacing the 1520 and 1521

We won't likely see updates for the other 2 Inspirons for awhile. Watching the drivers compatibility list is a good way to know when and if something new is on the way.. lol
That or something get leaked. -
Why I'm pretty sure there isn't going to be a 1725 soon I can definitly vouch for your rigs performance.
Install the 169.28 drivers and you are golden man.
Inspiron 1720 or wait
