    Basically ive bought everything from a dell vostro 1700 and im going to turn my silver inspiron 1720 into basically a black vostro 1700


    never really taken a laptop fully apart before

    done loads of pc's


    should be a new experience

    when i got cash i hope to get an x9000 or t9300 depends if i have money for x9000

    and maybe 6gb of ram but money again is an issue


    ive this laptop since i was 17 i think so yeh 3 Years and it served me damn well tbh


    ill post some pics of it after im done



    and yes i like all my stuff to be black, my xbox... my pc, my phone... my car when i get one...

    That's alot of hassle as I have stripped apart my Vostro 1500 which is pretty much the same thing as a 1700. You have to remove the motherboard which is pretty extreme I would say. Why not just go to your local hardware store and buy a can of spray paint? :confused:

    Or if you plan on doing this crazy mod you might as well do all the modifications at once, and before you put everything back together make sure it posts. ;)
