    Inspiron 1720, Blue-screening

    Yesterday, my laptop bluescreened, for no apparent reason (i hadn't just installed anything, or plugged anything in).

    Any help is greatly appreciated, as right now, i'm completely lost.

    dude, I once clicked on a link in chrome nad BSODed. What's the Stop error code?

    It's something like 0X0000008E

    It doesn't give me enough time to count how many 0s there are before the 8E, but hopefully it gives you a rough idea

    Hmm, does it also say something in words? Around the top of the screen?

    Maybe try taking a pic of it with a camera when it happens. ;)

    Are your BSOD messages saved as a minidump in your 1720? It'll be great as someone can debug the BSOD minidump to see what the error really is... I'll see if I can debug it for you.... I admit, it's been a long time since I debugged one.

    What about other installations; did you update any driver, or windows updates? Also, when did this happen? Is it also your first time that it happened?
