I got one of the first waves of Inspiron 1720s manufactured.

I routinely get random cursor jumps. I will be typing data in a field (like filling in a blank on a web-based form or renaming a file in Windows) and the cursor will suddenly jump to another part of the page.

Anybody else got this? Any idea what's going on?

Maybe your hands are touching the touchpad?

I've gotten that problem on desktop computers as well. I think it's related to the video card drivers, because it mainly happens during games, but that's just a guess.
