I have the inspiron 1721 with the RAID 1 on and BIOS set to RAID (not automatic). I currently have VISTA HOME PREMIUM installed. I constructed a XP PRO disk with NLITE and install XP successfully on it and I have no problem running XP.
Now I try to repair the boot sector with the VISTA installation disk and it tells me it can't find the hard disks and asks me to load the drivers. I tried to use the driver disk and add the ATI RAID drivers and it still can't find the hard disk. Anyone know how can I get this fixed?
