    For those of you who installed a SSD (or any other drive) and did a clean install of the OS, when you re-installed the drivers & programs did you install the Intel Rapid Start Technology program?

    Also, has anyone tried to upgrade the WLAN card in this laptop? I see some of the other Inspiron's come with better wireless cards that these do.

    I did install the Intel software

    As far as the wireless card, yes you could swap it for another card, all you really need is the proper driver for it, and it must be the same size card.
