    Hi guys,
This is my first post and I do apologize if my question has already asked. Here is the thing. My Pentium III Dell Inspiron 3800 does not power up. When I plug in the power adapter, the light on the power adapter goes from solid green to flashing. When I unplug it, it goes back to solid green. Tried 2 different power adapters, same thing. With the battery (full charge), all the lights go ON and after a few seconds, they go back OFF. Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you very much.
    Auptimus.

Sounds like a short on the mobo... meaning it's dead. Go buy a new laptop; this is most likely not worth repairing.
