    Hey everyone,

I need some help with my ancient laptop, which still works well in every aspect except the s-video out. I have it connected to a Sony 27" tube, and regardless of the video input selection, the ATI control panel doesn't recognize the TV. I can connect other devices (ex: Xbox, DVD player) so obviously the TV is not the problem. So is there a way to force video out? Or is there a cable issue? Or what the heck else could it be?

    Thanks to all.
