I have Inspiron 5100 notebook which is running great. Now I am planning to buy Latitude notebook 820 and need money.. Here are my notebook details...
    Inspiron 5100 with floppy drive
    pentium 2.4ghz
    512mb ram
    CD RW drive
    30gb hdrive.

The condition is very good. Infact I havent even removed the cover on back of the screen after 2 yrs of use, so you can imagine how good the condition is.

Can someone tell me how much I can get for this notebook. I have a spare battery also for this one and I will give that too if someone is giving me a good price.

    thanks...

considering one might be able to order new notebooks with similar specs for 400-600, i'd say no

seriously, laptop value drops quickly for used stuff

There is a refurbished one selling with similar specs going for $300 on ebay right now. It has a new mobo and is refurbished tho so expect somewhere in the $200-300range.

only you can answer the question of whether it will be too small or not. i love it. others don't. you should try to find a 15.4 wuxga and look at it in person.

    I have a 5150

    15.4"screen 1600x1200
    P4 3GHz
    1GB ram
    60GB hard drive
    GeForce5200 64MB video card

I'm hoping to get $450 to $500 for it, largely based on the ram and the hi-res screen.

Truth be told, the 5100/5150 notebooks are known to be kinda dicey. The motherboards crack.

They also weigh about 50 pounds and the power brick is HUGE.

The video card sucks for games, but it's ok for coding/multimedia design work.

If you are looking for a way to market that laptop on Craigslist or something, maybe mention that it would make a good developmental web server. I use mine as a IIS/Coldfusion/mySQL/PHP webserver and I stream podcasts and stuff with it.

As a laptop, people see it, and they are like, wow, it's huge, and not in a good way.
