Hi guys, and thanks in advance for any help on this.

A few weeks ago my original power supply shorted ( not been connected to the laptop ) and died. Because i'm in Argentina an new power supply here was 80 bucks. So because i wasnt in a hurry i decided to order one via Ebay.

After i got the power supply (2 weeks later) i plug it in... and to my surprise, the machine wont turn on... after looking the first time at the PS specs i saw that everything is the same , but when looking again i realized that the SUPPLY INPUT WAS 100-240 2.5A and that the original was 100-240 1.5A, everything else was the same exact thing. Can this make a difference that will make my machine be as dead as been six feet under?

    Thank you again.
    Alex
