    Good Day All,
Looked all through the forum and did some substantial Googling, but I can't find anything about how to turn off or modify the screen dimming when running on battery.

I've hunted all through the Power Options in Control Panel, but can't find anywhere to change the screen dimming.

Anyone know if it is possible to turn this off or change screen dim level???

By the way, I ordered with XP Home and upgraded to XP Pro using a slipstream process. The Sonic software on the machine worked just fine for creating a bootable CD. Didn't need Roxio or Nero for that.

All is well...except for that screen dimming 'feature'.

    Thanks,
    JCangelo

There is a setting in the BIOS that will change the dimming when in battery mode.
