Hi - The HD on my 6000 recently crashed. I replaced it, loaded XP, loaded updates etc etc but the hibernate and standby options are not available. On the Dell Quickset I select "enable Hibernate" but that does not take. If I press Fn and F1 I get a message asking if I want to activate Hibernation but nothing seems to work

    Aany idead appreciated

intel 915 and depending on what video card you have its the 915PM or the 915GM you can find de drivers on dell support site, or on the intel website.

but the hibernation an standby options are options that mostely don't work because of the lack of good video card drivers so i would try to download them first.
