I recently bought a Inspiron 6000 works great love the widescreen and weight of it.

Anyways I usually take it to work with me and was using it before I got to work drove to work went to boot it up as soon as I arrived and it came up with error message unable to recognize internal HDD. Very weird have never seen anything like that. any help???

Could try re-seating the drive or boot into dos and see if you can see it there.

The drive is probably bad then. Call support and they'll probably send you a new one.
