    Hi everyone,

Recently I decided that I need to clean the vents of my "old" Inspiron 6000. It's almost three years old and the interior has never been cleaned. The vents are covered with dust and fans sound unusually loud compare my 5920G.

So I did a little research on Dell website and am I right to say I've take apart almost the entire laptop to clean the fans? On 5920G I only have to removed 9 screws and a back panel.

I think you have to open it enough that you can use a can of air to blow the dust 'out' of the laptop rather than further into it.
