Okay, my 600m was working fine, for quite a while, but just recently I started having a problem with games. Any game or anything else other than a movie that requires graphics has been causing my laptop problems. The screen will not totally freeze, but the fps will drop to less than one, and it just wont respond and the game becomes unplayable. It doesn't feel like it's overheating, and all the temps are fine, I've updated my drivers and I'm still having the same problem.

It'll be fine for about the first 20 minutes of play, it'll do that weird fps/freeze thing, I'll restart, and it'll work fine for a little whiel again, then it does the same thing. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

i own a 600m for almost 4 years and i can tell you it is a dust collector. clean the air vents (left back side + bottom) with compressed air, or if you do know how to disassemble your laptop, get an assembly guide (i will provide it if youd like) and clean both the heatsinks and fan, you will most probably find dustbunnies all over the place, even though you prolly cannot feel the heat but the processor is choking on the hot air that refuses to vent out...

i clean the inside of my 600m every 6 months to a year and i can almost takeout a handful of dustbunnies and hair (i am hairy)

also, try uninstalling unused programs, and check for apps or processes running in the background. if all fails, reformat + update to latest drivers from www.dell.com
