Guys,
I have a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop that froze up completely this afternoon. In order to shut the computer down, I held the power button for a few seconds for a manual shut down. Ever since, I have tried to restart it and I get nothing! The power lights on the right side under the monitor (the two on the left) come on briefly, then go out...the three lights above the keyboard come on, then go out except for the center light which blinks 9 times.
Does this sound like a major problem? If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!

I don't know what those lights mean, and since I don't feel like looking it up...
1) Ensure your power brick works. Make sure the LED on it is on.
2) Ensure that a charge light comes on when you plug in the power brick.
3) If all of the above DO happen, remove the battery while the system is plugged in and attempt to power the system on.
If none of this works, you've got a hardware problem... probably the motherboard. -
On my Inspiron 4100 (much older than the 600m), I get lights flashing when I turn it on without any RAM installed.
