    Hello,

    I have searched eBay and Google to see if there is a backlit keyboard available for my Inspiron 6400. I can't find any. So, I thought I would check here.

    Does anyone know if there is a backlit US keyboard available for the Inspiron 6400?

    If yes, where can I order one from? I will replace the keyboard myself.

    Unfortunately the Inspiron 6400 did not come with a backlit keyboard, most manufacturers have a seperate ZIF connection for a backlit keyboard.

    I don't even think it's possible to mod any existing backlit keyboard, if only because Dell never made such a thing in the form factor of the 6400 keyboard... you're probably better off buying a new laptop or getting a flashlight.
