I know the inspiron is a small business laptop, but does it make a big difference for personal use? It does come with a better processor with same price:

    Inspiron 6400 Dual Core
    Intel® Core™ Duo Proc T2500 (2GHz/667MHz/2 X 1MB L2 Cache)
    Genuine Windows® XP Home
    15.4 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen SXGA+ Display with TrueLife™
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHZ, 2 DIMM
    256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™
    100GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
    8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Internal Wireless and Bluetooth
85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

    E1505
    Intel® Core™ Duo Proc T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz/2 X 1MB L2 Cache)
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
    15.4 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen SXGA+ Display with TrueLife™
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHZ, 2 DIMM
    256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™
    100GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
    8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Internal Wireless and Bluetooth
85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

    which one should i get?

I believe they are the exact same models, just listed under the business versus home sections of dell.

They are the same laptop, with slightly different specs. The only real difference between the E1505 and the 6400 is that the 6400 is not available with the Media Center OS.
I would buy hte 6400 because of the better CPU, but really there is no difference between the two.

really, I can pick the Inspiron 6400 Dual Core with 2.0 Ghz for the exact same price. seems weird. only thing it does not have compared to the e1505 is the Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005. so i should get the Inspiron 6400 Dual Core?

The coupons only work for Home Office/Personal notebooks - no small business, sorry.
