Alright, so about 2 weeks ago my idiot friend spilled beer on my keypad and I had to send my laptop out to Dell to have them put in a new motherboard. I got my laptop back today and there's a few things that aren't working properly.

-The fan doesn't shut off at all unless I turn the computer off.

-I can't adjust my brightness level

-Whenever I press a key on my keypad, it makes this annoying chirping noise

I've been on the phone with a Dell Technician for an hour and he can't seem to figure out what the problem is either. He told me that I would have to send my laptop back to them again for another repair which I really dont feel like doing.

Can someone please help me out?

The fan might come on, because an older version of the BIOS is installed on the motherboard. So, an update might fix that. The other two problems seem more to do witht the keyboard. It could be that some residuel liquid is still present on the keyboard, probably on the bottom, and is causing those two problems. It seems the best way to get all of it fixed, would just be to send it into Dell again.
