    Hi

I was transfering files to my other pc using ethernet, and suddenly it said it failed and my network got disconnected!!! I checked if it was cable problems, and it turns out the cable is OK, so I check the other side of the connection (the router) and also seems OK. So I reinstalled the drivers and no use. However while trying to remove and insert the cable into the slot, I noticed once I insert the cable half way in, the network LEDs would flash and network would work, but if I insert it fully in it turns off and wont work!!! I tried cleaning the slot but no use. Anyway to solve this issue (other than sending it to dell)? I need this laptop DAILY, I am an IT student, so its a requirement for me to have this laptop, and dell would need weeks to completely resolve this issue. If there is anyway to fix this problem, please post. Thanx
