I guess could include e1505 users...

I ordered one - thoughts, experience, tips...

    Would you buy it again?

    Thanks --

I would buy it again, good quality/cost ratio

I'm a student and I wanted a good laptop to be able to play a bit and to do my school stuff. I love it!

So far I’m very, very happy with mine. I find I use it all the time around the house wirelessly. Although, I do think it’s a little on the heavy side if I had to be carting it around as a student or business person on the go.

I purchased mine from Canada on-line about 4 months ago for around $1287.07 shipped. I even got a nylon caring case thrown in as well.

It’s an awesome step up from my old noisy Dell Latitude CPx J 500 MHz PIII dinosaur.

Yes I’d defiantly consider another one in the future.

As a tip, consider formatting the OS on the HDD to speed up your system to remove Dell installed bloat ware.

Buy your windows cd for re-installation for 10$ .. I forgot to do so, but you still can call them to requet it. Well, they are shipping it to me right now for free :p

I'm a student that carry it all the time (In fact, I was obligated to buy a laptop for my university) and it's not so bad even if it's quite heavy.

I am happy with mine, what are you getting in yours, and what do you plan on doing with it? I would buy mine again, no regrets so far.

I got my Inspiron6400. I won't complaint, but Window vista sure sucks.
Cannot transfer file from my old pc to it coz my old 1 is running on Xp, and it's faster than this new 1 =.= God bless Dell with Vista =x!
