Can anyone tell me what a normal idling and load temperature for an X1400 in an Inspiron 6400 laptop should be? On normal clocks, with fan forced to high, I8kfanGUI reports that my CPU (Core 2 Duo T5600) idles at 30C, and loads at ~40C, while the X1400 idles at ~70C and under load increases till about ~80C - at which point it automatically clocks down. Gaming on it is close to impossible, and it is of course out of warranty.
I've cleaned the dust out recently, and was wondering if perhaps a bit of AS5 to the GPU-heatsink would help cool it down? I've never actually attempted something like that with a laptop before.
    Thanks.
