Ok i am a little confsued, i under the 6400 suppose to have a feature to underclock the gpu automaticaly when its not needed to save battery life. However is CCC needed for this? i dont like CCC cuz it takes a lot of memory so when i got the laptop i reformatted rite away and only installed the lastest drivers not CCC. is CCC the only programs that safe and will do it automatically? I dont wana try any other program to manually over/under clock cuz i dont wnaa risk anything.
Also I think the CPU is suppose to underclock automatically aswell? Is a program needed for this too? Where can i see how much of my CPU power is acutally being used at a certain time?
ps. i am not so concerned about battery life , i jsut want to reduce heat. again i dont wana touch anythign manually like undervolting and stuff.
thx
